The Story of the Webcam

Once upon a time a couple of nerd-types decided to get a webcam. One sunny Saturday afternoon instead of skiing they decided to go and purchase said device from a well-known store. They got it back and excitedly ripped the

box open. Plugging it in to play, they were amazed.

But then nerd1 loaded DirectX7 and it was game over. They thought they got it going after some jiggery pokery but, alas, it was to be another false dawn.

Kensington didn't respond to our request for tech support and we are now left with a defunct camera.

Finally we went to IBM's, erm, quality product (at least it worked) and were able to catch Al picking his nose when he least expected it
